This BotsIQ event will be using the Builders Database to process all registrations.
It only takes about five minutes to register. If you haven't used Buidlers DB before, it's a very simple and quick way to register your robots. Just follow the steps below.
Read all seven steps BEFORE starting! If you do not fully complete your registration, you won't be allowed to compete!
Many people get their robots into the database, but do not complete the final step - registering for the event. The Builders Database website handles registration for many different events, so it's important to affiliate your robots with this event - BuildersDB is not exclusive to BotsIQ.
- Launch registration by clicking the button at the bottom of the page. Fill out the four fields to create an account.
- Once your account has been made, you will be brought to the Team Info page. Fill out the fields with your team's contact information and other details.
- Click the robots tab on the left, then click the Add New Bot button.
- Enter the bot name, then choose your frequencies. Repeat these steps to add multiple robots if necessary.(about 2 minutes.)
- Click the builders tab on the left, then click the Add New Team Member button and enter info for each team member (about 2 minutes/person). Photos are required for BotsIQ events.
- DO NOT MISS THIS STEP! Click the Register tab, then select the BotsIQ event you wish to register for. Click the big yellow button marked Click here to register.
You must do this step in order to associate your robots and team with the BotsIQ competition (as there are many other competitions.)
- Follow the 3 step on-screen process to register for the event. (about 20 seconds.)
That's all! Once you've completed the info the first time, you don't need to put it in again. For other events, you can register in under a minute!
