CROS - Sac County January Rumble

General Info:

• This is a free event which is open to the public
• Please bring a power strip, weapon lock, and safety goggles
• Located at 290 American River Canyon Dr, Folsom, CA 95630
• SPARC rule set will be enforced
• Basic materials and tools will be supplied for free which you can use to repair your bot
• It is located in a park though power will be supplied
• The antweight division will receive a 1st and 2nd place award for the top two ranked robots
• The plastic antweight division will receive a 1st place award for the best ranked robot
• Awards for all weight classes are Best Design, Most Destructive, Best Driving
• All award winners receive money and/or a trophy
• Hamburgers($7), Pop Corn($7 per bag), Pizza($5 per slice), and Hot Chocolate($1 per cup) will be sold at the event

Arena Info:

• The arena is 4ft x 4ft x 2ft
• Walls are 0.25″ polycarbonate 24″x48″
• Wooden OSB floor
• 2″ x 1/8″ x 24″ steel angle corner pieces
• Top pivot access so no arena door in the polycarbonate to obstruct view
• Lights are installed in the arena

Schedule:

• Regular antweight will run double-elimination
• Plastic antweight will run triple-elimination
• Teams who still want to fight after all matches are over will be allowed to participate in grudge matches if time allows

Note* We have opted to not include dinner in the schedule to best fit the schedules of some of the competitors. Due to this, we will only be earning half of the expected amount, resulting in us still being in debt past this event and kindly request that you donate $20 to congliu2000@gmail.com via PayPal to help keep future events free.
