Rules:
We will be following standard SPARC rules for robot combat. PLA+ will be allowed and expected for Plastic Ants. No flame weapons allowed in either class. No cleats or magnets. Matches will be 2 minutes. Custom rules include matches being paused to check for a show of motion. When called for, opponents must stop and the bot in question must be able to reach the opposite side of the arena within 10 seconds without making contact with their opponent (that will move out of their path ahead of time) or the other two corners or walls of the arena. Unsticks will be allowed for bots that stick or prop themselves on the arena. A mutual collision will get an unstick but a bot that is set or thrown into a stick by it's opponent will not be unstuck. Only 1 unstick per bot, per match.
Arena:
3/8 in. single pane and 1/4, 1/8in double pane polycarbonate walls inset into aluminum extrusion framing with a 3/4 in plywood floor and 2x4 inset steel bumpers. Arena is 4ft W, 8ft L, 2ft Tall.
